Unforgetable highlights with a charming smile 
Almost by chance during my visit to Giza in 2023, I was able to visit the huge building complex of the brand new Grand Egyptian Museum. After its partial opening in October 2024, the grand official opening took place in November 2025. The museum is now open to visitors in its entirety.
The impressive architecture of the world’s largest museum of civilizational culture, with its 12 galleries, will fascinate you as much as it did me. You should pay special attention to the Tutankhamun Gallery.
Admission costs currently 1,200 Egyptian pounds (~ 24€).
A guided tour with Mariam or her colleagues costs a few pounds more. However, it is absolutely worth it for this competent and charming tour.
