Something for ‘Young at Heart’ Big Boys & Girls 🏎️

When I went on this tour with Klaudia and her friend Kamila, I was reminded of Captain Picard travelling with Data and Worf in an Arco Car in the Star Trek film ‘Nemesis’.

It was really such great fun for the three of us! To get a feel for it, take a look at the video on the right that Klaudia shot while we’re riding at full speed. The two-hour, 25-kilometer drive into the desert to a Bedouin village was simply incredible and definitely more than worth the price of ~100€.

In December 2024 then, I went on a combination of spider car, quad biking and jeep tour with my friend Andreas. We found the night-time drive back to the camp particularly exciting. The local driver brought us safely back to the starting point of the tour only with the help of GPS. Surely, anyone else would have lost their bearings and we’d have spent the night in the desert…

The combination is designed as a day tour for “package tourists”, including lunch or dinner in the camp and a dance performance. More exclusive and something for “real” adventurers and action lovers is the more expensive 2-hour tour with faster spider cars.

Both tours including hotel transfers can be conveniently booked through Sheemy, who also runs a really nice shop with branded textiles on Sheraton Road. If you would like me to contact him, please use the contact form here.
