You can reach this historical site of Cairo in the most convenient, fastest and cheapest way by metro (Mar Girgis stop of line 1). You can find information about Metro Cairo <a href=\"https:\/\/metroguides.info\/city\/cairo?ln=en#scheme\/0\/0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p><p>For me, this historic site (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979) is a place of tranquility in the noisy and largest metropolis in Africa. Although I am not a devout Christian, I feel the spirituality and the special quality of the Holy Family every time I enter the churches, which manage without pompous pomp. The <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Coptic_Museum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Coptic Museum<\/a> should definitely be visited.<\/p><p>If you want to get to know this quarter with its special flair, I recommend my friend George.\u00a0 He grew up in this neighborhood and therefore knows every corner of it.
