In fact, my first visit here inspired me to visit all of Egypt\u2019s major sights. The only thing still on my \u2018wish list\u2019 for 2026 is Alexandria, the pearl of Egypt on the Mediterranean coast.<\/p><p>In December 2024, I invited a long-time military friend, who visited Egypt for the first time, to join me there. Even my tour guide Kimo at the <em>actual<\/em> pyramids (see the tours <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoveregypt.org\/giza-pyramids\/\">Giza Pyramids at Day &amp; at Night<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoveregypt.org\/prince-on-a-white-horse\/\">Prince on a White Horse<\/a>) fell for the resulting pictures, as he called me immediately after I send him some greetings and asked \u2018Where <em>are<\/em> you, J\u00f6rg?\u2019 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/15.0.3\/svg\/1f609.svg\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude09\" \/><\/p><p>\u2018Mini Egypt\u2019 is cool for children too, making it an interesting day-out destination for families.
